“The carbon fiber is absolutely beautiful. It matches the matte twill on my bike perfectly. Definitely a high end piece, that really finished off my Brutale track bike build. Maxi carbon is great quality. Looking to purchase more soon.

“I would like to begin by expressing my appreciation for the item's aesthetic appeal. However, I must also mention a few aspects that have led me to rate it with two stars. To start on a positive note, I would like to commend the swiftness of the shipping process and the item's visual charm. The carbon fiber design is truly impressive, and the glossy finish is quite lovely. Additionally, the packaging was excellent, providing ample cushioning and protection. Regarding the less favorable aspects, the cover's thin and flexible nature is a concern, as it raises worries about potential cracking or breakage under minimal pressure. Previously acquired a tank extender for my other motorcycle (Yamaha R1) from another company, in comparison my R1's tank cover is notably thicker and less flexible, which I found to be more durable and higher quality. Consequently, I must express my disappointment with the quality of this tank cover, particularly considering I paid roughly $225 USD. Furthermore, the absence of 3M double-sided tape for mounting necessitates an additional purchase, unlike other companies that include it or provide a ready-to-install solution. Finally, the alignment of the filler cap and screw mounting holes is slightly off, especially the filler cap. If considering mounting an aftermarket filler cap this may require mounting the aftermarket filler cap first or necessitate removing and reinstalling the tank cover, which is extremely inconvenient. While the modification is visually appealing, in my opinion, the quality feels subpar, almost, if not close to cheap china material, which would have been less expensive to purchase on some off-site like Aliexpress. For spending roughly $225 for a "high quality" item it is disappointing to receive something that feels and seems so low quality that you have to be delicate with it, and also the fact that there is a need for additional expenses for the double-sided tape to mount it.

“Look is great, fitting is perfect but installing the upper air duct is really complicated. If you lower the plastic frame of the air fans by removing one screw on the bottom of the radiator and put the brake lines following the frame aside, you'll get ist done but it's a bit of a hassle. Weight reduction is 0,006kg each.

“Looks great, fitting is good. When removeing the original part use chain cleaner and clean the part because there are 3 small screws which you won't find otherwise. No weight reduction, weighs exactly the same as the original part

“Look is great, fitting is really good too but you’ll need one 3mm diameter metal screw on the left side because originally there is a wooden screw. Weight reduction is good with this small part 0,367kg

“Look is great, fitting is really bad. There are 3 wooden screws for the key signal receiver but on this part you'll need 3 metal screws which are not included (3mm diameter and 8mm long). Also all 3 holes don't line up with the original holes. If you find the original KTM Carbon cover somewhere cheap, go for this one instead. But if you are done mounting it, I did it with 2 instead of 3 screws, it looks absolutely perfect.

“I bought this dashboard cover in glossy twill for my 22' KTM 890 Duke R. At the same time I bought 4 other carbon pieces from a competitor. Everything from the competitor turned milky white by mid summer. The Maxicarbon piece looks like NEW. Last week I ordered all new carbon from Maxicarbon, exactly what I should have done in the first place.

“Ho acquistato questo articolo 2 anni fa. Molto ben rifinito, ottimo pezzo.

“This was my favorite piece of carbon fiber I have added to my R1. They look great and the quality sis top notch. Only negative was they do not come with a template to drill. I used painters tape with sticky side towards bike, taped a little to the winglets so the would stay in place. Marked the studs and applied to fairing.

“So I have to edit my review to a positive one. The manufacturer and at the same time the seller tried to accommodate as much as possible and help me with the error that occurred during the production of the part. Everything was solved and one of the three alternatives that were offered to me to solve my problem was chosen.

“Unfortunately, in my version, this product did not turn out to be well-made. The holders of the carbon part were not at all compatible with the holders on the original "coolers". Nothing fit as it should. Therefore, it was not possible to replace the purchased part with an original one. Part unusable. Big disappointment for me.

“Trash. Not a complete cover. This is a 50-60% cover over a thin channel along the inside of the swing arm. This does NOT cover the top and bottom edges of the swing arm. Very disappointed and €140 for what looks like a cheap carbon sticker. I will look for a real swingarm cover and eat this expensive mistake.

“Great quality but poor fitment. This was originally going to be a 2/3 star review due to the terrible fitment on one of the bolt holes. Three lined up perfect, but one was so out that when I tried to thread in a bolt to pull it across and line up, within one turn the hole shattered. What drags this review back up is the excellent, friendly and fast customer service. Getting me a partial refund (36%) for my troubles within a week. Overall I was happy with this as if I am honest, 3 screws will hold the upper fender on just fine, and when it is on the bike you cannot even notice that a screw is missing unless you start tugging on it.

Veramente soddisfatto. Bravi!

“I was able to install it without any problems. However, when installing with the Swingarm cover with pad, there are places where the two parts are tightened together with bolts, so the bolts are not long enough, so you will need to prepare extra long bolts or glue them together.
DAN
2/5/2023
“There was no problem with the fitting just by slightly cutting the hole on the right side of the two bolt holes that hold the area around the key cylinder. When I put it on in combination with the air duct cover, it felt even more luxurious.
DAN
2/5/2023
“After the product arrived, I tried to install it immediately, but I was able to install it as it was without the trouble of widening the bolt hole with a file or the like. Compared to the carbon front fender made by Ducati Performance, it is less than half the price and the quality of the product is high and the satisfaction is very high.

“The carbon quality and finish is excellent and once fitted it looks awsome! However alot of trimming was required on several areas. The rear seat base which attaches to the under tray had to be trimmed to fit the carbon tray as it is thicker than oem on the inside. The OEM undertray has a grove where the two metal base that are at each side of the seat slide in to. The carbon tray does not have this grove, so the only way to install the metal base is to trim the area that goes in the grove. The upper area required trimming on several spots which would touch the sub frame where is should not. The passenger pegs don't fit as secure as on oem plastic. The carbon does not lign up evenly against the subframe so if you try to fully tighten the outer peg screws you risk breaking the under tray. I was able to get it tight enough that the pegs are usable, but they still move a little under load. The 4 stars is because the product is advertized as a simple remove oem and install with same screws and that is not the case. And also because of the issue with the passenger pegs which I will need to solve with some spacer or washers on the inside. Part was installed on a 2022 KTM 1290 Super Duke R Evo

“I bought a bunch of different parts for my 890 duke r. All the parts I received came in packaged very well. I live in the USA and it only took about a month from the day I ordered until it arrived. All the parts look amazing. Fitment was great. I had to open up a few of the bolt holes but I expected that, and it was a very easy process to do. After I fitted the parts it transformed my bike. I highly recommend these products from maxi carbon. The customer service is the best service I’ve experienced from any company. I will be back to order more parts that’s for sure.

“Very good quality. Both sides are firm fit, everyting is sturdy and gives no rattles. All holes and pins were in perfect places. Front curved panels are in its places in BMW OEM ABS piece. I saw a few pieces with this ones being completly out of specs. Not with Maxicarbon stuff. Gloss quality is also very good with superb carbon structure and with pleasant 3d like look. Bike looks waaaay better. Customer service was excelent thanks Claudio and Stella. Many thanks to you all.

“Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Centratura sulle forcelle perfetta. Che dire, consiglio senza riserve. Sempre ottimo servizio di vendita e postvendita , personale veramente cordiale.
Samuele Gubert
1/13/2021
“Semplicemente splendidi , rapporto qualità-prezzo eccezionale.

“Purchased a tank cover, front fender and dashboard cover in matte twill for my 2017 KTM Superduke R all the way from Australia. The parts arrived more promptly than most domestic packages get shipped here in Oz, even during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. The followup customer service from this company has been a highlight and the parts look fantastic on the bike. Fitment was a breeze with all mounting points lining up as if they were OEM parts. Couldn't be happier and would certainly purchase from Maxicarbon in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

SUPER CONSIGLIATO!
